蒙脱石不影响禽畜对营养元素的吸收
蒙脱石系列产品是绿色保健产品，用蒙脱石作止泻药治疗仔猪白痢和早期断奶腹泻综合征，其治疗总有效率高于抗菌药物烟酸诺氟沙星注射液。纳米蒙脱石与抗菌药物联用效果很好，纳米蒙脱石对非感染仔猪腹泻总有效率高达94.1%。蒙脱石经过华中农业大学、华南农业大学、绍兴县中大畜牧有限公司、浙江省绍兴县畜牧兽医局、新昌县畜牧局等多家单位对猪、兔子等禽畜进行临床试验，疗效显著。有关临床试验论文都已发表在正规刊物上。

蒙脱石比表面积是常规粉末的四十倍。既然蒙脱石有如此强的吸附力，那么它是否也会吸附肠道内的营养元素，如维生素，而具有副作用呢？然而，在研究蒙脱石因吸附营养元素而产生副作用的实验中发现，添加占饮食重量25%的蒙脱石没有出现副作用，当添加量增大到饮食总量的50%时才出现影响健康的副作用。
